    3. Barren Township is north of Batesville, and borders Sharp County to the north. Part of the town of Cave City is in Barren Township, which also comprised the area of Curia, Gray's Chapel, Mt. Tabor, and other locations with Methodist churches. Which Jordan line are you researching? Have some info on Russell Jordan, but he lived at Maxville, I believe, which was in Sharp County, probably Sullivan Township.
