Debbie, Have just been checking 1900 & 1910 cen for Ind co and found the GAMBILL family and will get them togeather and send it to you. Yes, Batesville is in Independence co. I think JOHN W. GAMBILL was the father of WILLIAM A. and JOHN GAMBILL( Jr) and JOHN (JR)was in Marion co Ar and then came back to Ar. Let me know if this helps. Sorry about not getting back to you sooner.
