Teri, Barren Township is north of Batesville, and borders Sharp County to the north. The postoffice was at "Curia", which was named for Curia Creek which runs thru that area. There is a cemetery in that vicinity, named Ball Cemetery, which was, at one time, con-sidered to be the center of Curia! I'm not familiar with the surname you were looking for being listed, nor have I ever seen it myself, in the Ball Cemetery.
