I am trying to find the parents of William Blankenship b.abt 1835 Ky Married Elizabeth Gilmore in Independence Co. 1856 their child was James Q. Blankenship b. 1859. William isn't found on the 1870 Ark. Census,Independence Co. Is there a way to get a copy of their marraige licence which appears on an Index for that Co.? Did they issue such a thing back then? I beleive William died before 1870. Thanks for any help or advice. Frank Blankenship
