Isaac married Delilah Littlejohn 1827 in Lauderdale Co, AL. Their children were: Mary Elizabeth (Polly)b. 1828, married John W Puckett Caroline b. 1829, married Avery Yates Silas G b. 1831, marr. Mary (Polly) Elizabeth Martin Henry E b. 1835, marr. Sarah Missouri Martin Louisa L b. 1837 Lucinda b. 1839 Amanda Jane b. 1841, marr. William Martin Charles b. 1842 Riley E b. 1843, marr. Margaret A ? Delila b. 1846 Zachary Taylor, b. 1848, marr. Martha F ?, and Mrs Fannie Summers I also have info on the children of some of these children. Some members of this Grooms family eventually found their way to Craighead Co. I would be interested in information concerning any of these people, including the spouses, especially the Martins. There was also another Grooms family contemporary with Isaac in Independence Co. I believe they are related: Henry Grooms b. in TN abt 1817 married Rebbeca Rainey in Independence Co 1842.
