Bonnie, May have found his second wife in Jackson County AR but no info on earlier marriage available in Jackson County records. By the way, it is a free site to search and you can get a copy of the marriage license for 25 cents if you are close enough or send $5.00 to them. 1919-1920 MAR DATE GROOM BRIDE BOOK-PAGE 05/02/1919 VAULNER, CHARLEY WEEKS, NOLLIE I-553 http://jacksoncountyclerk.0catch.com/1919-1920.html Barbara King Surname Research: Allen/Bennett/Brown/Craughen/Crawford/Drake/Riley/Silmon/Simmons/Wortham From: "Bonnie Graves" <bgraves34@texoma.net> To: ARINDEPE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [AR IND] MARRIAGE LOOKUP NEEDED Date: Thu, 30 Jun 2005 21:31:37 -0500 Hello, I am needing help in looking up a marriage between 1900 and 1910 for Charlie Vaulner. The last name could be spelled as "Volliner", "Vanleur", or similiar spellings. The bride's last name might have been Pruitt. According to the 1910 Census for Union Township, Jackson County, Charlie was a widower. The marriage might have taken place in Independence, Woodruff, or Jackson County. I am unsure because I have found marriages listed in each of these counties for ancestors who were believed to have been married in Independence County. I am assuming the records were listed in the different counties because of the re-districting of the counties. All help and suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks, Bonnie Graves
