Hello, Could anyone tell me the names of the cemeteries in Cord, AR? I am hunting for ancestors named Wells. They were married at the Original Hopewell Presbyterian Church in 1863. I am hoping I might find them buried in Cord......they are not listed in the Hopewell Cemetary but I am hopeful there were others.... Thanks, Stephanie [email protected]
Curia is about 15 miles northeast of Batesville, Jimmy Tidwell P O Box 389 Hawkins,Texas,75765 903-858-3012 Home 903-858-2727 Fax 903-530-4307 Cell

There was a Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian church was in the Cord area (about 15 miles east of Batesville) until it moved to Batesville. The cemetery is still in the original spot in Cord. What township was the Cuna Post office in? I don't think I've heard of that one. LAWRENCE CO PROBATE RECORDS . 235. CRAVENS, Robert, deceased. Verbal Will was made prior to his death, which occurred on March 16,1824, at residence of Joseph CRAVENS in Independence County, Arkansas Territory. Will was proved on April 10,1824. No bond found.
Could someone please tell me if there are or were any Presbyterian churches in the Batesville area in about 1867? Or what cemeteries are in this area. My family I'm looking for was enumerated in the Batesville area, Cuna postoffice in 1860. Thanks! Teri

Liberty Cemetery is about 11 miles east of Batesville off Hwy 25. Turn left (coming from Batesville on Hwy 25) onto Oak Bluff Road. About 1/2 mile down the road, it forks. Take the left (the right is Taylor Lane) fork. The church and the cemetery are about a mile down the road, beside the Liberty Baptist Church. Oak Bluff Road is directly across the highway (Hwy 25 or White Drive) from Mt. Herman Road. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Reeves" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, September 23, 2001 9:55 AM Subject: [AR IND.] Liberty Cemetery > > Hi Folks. If you are connected, I have 4 Pleasant Talleys, but can't tell if any of them are this guy or not...as yet, that is.
