Surnames: VAULNER, DAWRON, CONLEY Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/QV.2ADI/568 Message Board Post: I am looking for information on George and Novella Dawron. The marriage license for them was found in Newport, Jackson County, but Novella was born and raised on Hutchinson Mountain, Independence County, AR. Novella's maiden name is VAULNER but could be spelled in many different ways. On the marriage license in 1912 it was spelled as VANLNER Ouella C. If anyone has any information, please email me. I have been looking for what seems forever trying to find some kind of info on them. George supposedly worked for the railroad and Novella went to her brother Claude Vaulner's funeral in 1948 at Palestine Cemetery according to a newspaper article at the time. Other than that little info, I know nothing else. I am also looking for info on Alberta VAULNER who married William CONLEY in 1900. I have been unable to find a marriage license on them. I would appreciate any and all leads. Please email me at bgraves34@texoma.net with any info or suggestions on where to look. I have the majority of the VAULNER family traced. Thank you, Bonnie Graves

I just recently found them in Red River county, Texas 1880 census. My GGrandparents: Elijah A ROGERS and Emma A Dodd. Living near them are Benjaman and Sarah M DODD, who I also found in 1870 Christian,Independence, Arkansas:Hardin B DODD,Sarah and my GGrandmother Emily A. age 3. I am having trouble with the line from here. Is Benjeman Hardin DODD born abt. 1846 the son of Abner and Mary Jane Martin DODD? There are 2 Benjeman's close to the same age living in the area. I do know that Emily (Dodd) ROGERS named a child Jessie Hardin ROGERS, and that her mothers's name was Sarah M ,so I feel pretty sure that my guess is right but it is pretty confusing. Do you have any info on this part of the DODD family and is Mary Jane Martin DODD related to the infamous John Wesley Hardin ?

    3. I don't know the location of the Pate cemetery you mention but am also interested in Daniel and Mary Pate. I think that both died between 1893 and 1900. I have not been able to find them anywhere in census in 1900. Myrtle their youngest daughter born in 1893 is living with her sister Mary Nash & family in 1900. I have often wondered if perhaps Dan & Mary may have taken their family to Texas and died there. Although Myrtle is listed as born in Arkansas in the 1900 census she list Texas as her place of birth in the 1910, 1920, and 1930 census although she also lists Texas as her father's place of birth . I do know that my Grandfather John Simon Totty, Mary's brother spent some time in Texas prior to 1895 as did some of the other Totty relatives. I have a group picture taken at the blacksmith shop of Jim & Will Totty around 1899 in which three of the women were identified as being Daniel & Mary's daughters Mary Nash, Edna, and Sarah Johnnye -----Original Message----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com [mailto:gc-gateway@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of bethmer@gonowpc.com Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2005 2:27 AM To: ARINDEPE-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [AR IND] Pate Cemetery This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
