    3. Hi Ray. Yes, I am from the lines of Hill and Gilbreath. Hill is by marriage, however, coming down from James Russel Hill b:1818 to William Russell Hill, b:1856. William married my grandmother, Georgia Ann McSpadden, as her first marriage, and they lived in Carter Co, MO. Later, around 1903, she married John Piner Chambers, my GF, and they lived in NE Ark. I am a direct descendent in the Gilbreath line from my GGGF, Elias M Reeves, b:1817, who married my GGGM, Lerissa Gilbreath, b:1821, and they lived in Independence Co, Ark. Is there anything there you can use? Thanks. Paul Reeves At 10:37 PM 01/09/2001 -0600, you wrote: >Is anyone researching the surnames of HILL and COKER? If so, would like >to hear from you. 3. Jimmy: Thanks for your email. Since Lindale is near Yantis, we may be related. My Britton family is as follows: Harvey Britton (died during Civil War) m/Mary Ann Henson/Hanson (Smith Co., TX) b/c1833 in GA or TN (census varies). Their children: John b/c1850 AL; Thomas Jefferson b/c1852/56 TX; Franklin b/c1860 TX; William Henry b/1854 TX d/1817 Yantis, TX (my G Gf) m/Minnie Ann McDaniel (b/1871 Wood Co., TX d/1860 Wood Co., TX); George (no data); and Harvey (no data). I have less information on my Britton family than any other line and hope that you connect with lots of good information. Look forward to a breakdown on your Britton family. -- E. 3. I am a Christian. (Pentecostal) I can understand your wanting to be a witness. But I believe there is a time and a place for everything. People on this site are looking for genealogy answers. We get as many as 25 hits or more a day. If God is speaking to your heart to witness, do one on one. Stand on a street corner and hand out tracts. Another way is to respond to your friends or your neighbors that are hurting. . It works better. Doesn't irritate most people and gives Christ a better image.
