He married Phoebe Brown 05/23/1836 in Morgan, Ohio. She was born 10/21/1818 in Athens Co., Ohio, and died 03/20/1887 in Douglas Co., MO.. Children of Zadock Phillips and Phoebe Brown are: William B Phillips, born 07/24/1836 in Morgan Co., Ohio; died 12/13/1892. He married (1) Louisa Valaivies Strahl 10/24/1858; died 09/16/1859. He married (2) Elizabeth M. Hamilton 08/31/1864; born 10/11/1842 in Pulaski Co.,Mo.; died 02/11/1916 in Fulton CO., AR. Ann R Phillips, born 1848 in ,,Ohio. Katherine Madelyn Phillips, born 08/10/1854 in ,Morgan County, Ohio; died1/20/1919 in ,Douglas County, Missouri. She married James K "Baldy" Ellison 12/24/1873 in ,Douglas County, Missouri; born 03/31/1853 in ,Douglas County, Missouri; died 08/23/1936 in ,Douglas County, Missouri.
