Thanks Patti, for clearing that up for me. I forgot to address that part of Kathy's email. But yes, the W.T. Craig buried in the National Cemetary was William Thomas Craig, born in November 1833, in Kentucky. My research is indicating that he was the son of John M. Craig and Sarah R. Wilson, of Obion county, Tennessee (John M. Craig>Samuel Craig>James Craig & Rhoda Niblick). It tool a really long time to reach this point in my research. Mainly because I started off with only the intials of W.D. or W.T. Craig...some thought the "W" was for William, but were not sure of it. Then when I found they lived in Indian Territory during the 1890's, finding information was extremely difficult. When Ancestry.com finally posted the 1900 census, I found William & his children living in Muddy Fork, Howard, Arkansas. His oldest daughter (with 3rd wife) was Connie Young, wife of George W. Young. His third child was also a daughter and her name was Lula... She married Samuel Wilburn McBay and she was known as Lou McBay. I knew about their brother Porter Craig. Family members remembered him and Lou. But the 1900 census revealed 3 more brothers: William Thomas Jr., Joseph James, and George Washington Craig. I've been working on finding all of the brother's and their records. I've found Joseph & George in California. But I cannot find Uncle Porter or William Jr. One Aunt reported that the last time she saw Uncle Porter it was in Ok City---at a bingo hall. She dated it back in the early 1950's ("When my boys were quite small"). The 1930 census indicates he was living in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Perhaps he remained there. I'm not finding much at the website though. As for William Jr., I don't have a clue where he ended up. He didn't register for the draft, like his brothers. And w/o some information to go on, I don't know how to pinpoint him on the 1910 census. There are literally 1000's of men named "William Craig"...... I know, I've been working on his father for years! But my journey continues on... At least, now I have a better picture of William Sr and his lifetime. I've compiled enough now that I think a book is in order. IF I can get organized enough to do it. Anyway, thanks again Patti. I hope the other lady finds the right man.... Brenda
