This won't be much but I believe that the only group that I had in this county was very brief but the gentleman's name was Marion Green and I think it was an Ivy woman but I may have this confused, it may have been Blankenship. Anyway the parents married in Green Co., AR if I have recalled correctly and had a dau there. I can't remember whether the woman died in childbirth or shortly thereafter but the dau was raised by the next wife and I think that that one many have been the Blankenship. The dau was the mother of my own Mother's stepfather, Lloyd Amos Wadkins. There were a number of boys early and daus later in this family and I do believe that some of the boys did return to the Green co, AR seasonally to work. This broader family lived most of their lives in Izard and Baxter Cos., AR but the whole family traveled seasonally to the "bottoms" to work the harvest and particularly to work on equipment. It seems that boys were exceptionally talented in making machinery work for yet another season and they were always in demand. Of course all that work in the season tied them over until the next season.
