researching JJ Halford who married Mrs. H. C. Griffey in Greene County on Dec 12, 1887. Thinking this could be my GGGrandfather Jonathan Jackson Halford who was last seen on the 1860 census of Gibson County, Tn and whose wife Nancy died 1875 somewhere but was buried in Gibson County. Thinking that possibly they could have moved to Greene County sometime after his last son was born in 1866.
