    3. Hello Tina, There was a skirmish that tool place on: July 10, 1862 at Scatterville. But I believe Scatterville is located in the state of Missouri. I will try and do more research on this and will let you know if I find anything. To the best of my knowledge and research, there were never any skirmishes in Greene County. I believe the Union troops march through there twice, but no battle or skirmish took place. I am a distant relative of Charles Francis Forsythe, a Confederate War veteran from Greene County, Arkansas. I will let you know if I find anything else.
