Linda, I have a little bit on the Noel's. One of my Walls relations married a Noel and I've done some research on them. They came here from Gibson Co., TN. David Noel married Almedia Walls. I know they moved to Marmaduke/Halliday area, where Almedia's father Solomon was a preacher and landowner. David is probably the father of Edmond. There is a Noel history at the Greene Co. library. There are still alot of Noel's here in Greene Co and they are all related.
