Tina, it is very generous of you to offer to look in the 1908 directory for Steve's folks. But if the directory to which you are referring is the Paragould city directory, I doubt that the residents of Collier township are included. Collier Township is south of Paragould. Collier was sandwiched between Main Shore and St. Francis townships, all bordering Craighead County. On a map I have showing school districts in 1930, I see only three high schools: one in Paragould, one in Marmaduke, and one "consolidated" high school in the southern part of the county near Bethel Station.
