Hello I am trying to find Information about my family James Newberry b: Before 1800 m: Sarah ? Samuel Newberry b: 15 Aug 1822 in Washington County, North Carolina, d: 17 February 1874 in Greene County, Arkansas m: Nancy W. Trantham 25 Sept 1844 in Weakley County, Tennessee. They moved to Arkansas about 1859. d: 09 Jan 1885 in Greene County, Arkansas. Samuel and Nancy are both buried in Hartsoe Cemetery. Nancy's father was Floyd Trantham b: 1799 her mother was Elizabeth Gunter. Can anyone help me with more inforamtion on these wonderful people. Thanks Doris

Doris, I don't have any info on the family directly, however an ancestor did marry a Trantham. Mary Jane Walls b. 1850 in Gibson Co., TN married Needham M. Trantham. They are both buried in New Liberty Cemetery in Halliday, which is just outside of Marmaduke. I don't know if this Trantham would be any relation to yours and I don't have any additional info. Just thought the name might be helpful as it is unusual. Carol
