Debra, Did you ever get an answer about the book. My Winn's never came to Arkansas but in this ever small world...my ggggggrandfather is also a Minor Winn who's father was Minor Winn. These Winn's came from South Carolina. My aunt did some research on the family but I would love to get this book you talked about. Kim CREEL, GROSHON(G), SUMNER, SHIKLE, SUMMERS, DODSON, DOBBINS, NEEL, CARSON, MacEWEN, BEARD, WINN, STRICKLAND, WILSON, BECKSTEAD, etc. _______________ In a message dated 7/4/00 9:04:14 PM Eastern Daylight Time, rdwalker@grnco.net writes: << Can someone tell me where at the Craighead County Library I can find Mr. Barnhill's research? I have been told that after his death his research was donated to the library but I can't find it. His wife was a descendant of Samuel C. Winn, brother to my gggrandfather, Minor M. Winn. From others, I have learned tidbits of Mr. Barnhill's research on the Winns, but, if it is available, I would love to look at his entire collection. Thanks in advance. Debra >>
Kim, I just noticed that Strickland is one of your families. Where were they from? Lucinda Jane Strickland/Stricklin McMillan was my great-great-grandmother. She married Neil McMillan in Haywood Co., TN, but I'm don't know where she was born. Ring any bells? Debra
