This book is located in the old Greene County Courthouse basement .It list the person and amount ,and dates and to whom the pension was delivered. The 1916 link isn't working. But the 1917 information is wonderful. My great-great-grandfather, John Adams, is the first on the list. I've been unable to establish his date of death but was told that he lived to be in his 90's. He was born in 1826 and the pension list proves that he lived beyond his 91st birthday.
