Hello Everyone, The 1882 Poll Tax listing is fully posted on the site for your researching . This book was found in the old Greene County Courthouse basement and has not been indexed before , until now.It was very hard to transcribe some of the transcriptions of names ran together with the persons names and initials. We hope this will help.Does anyone know if Poll Tax was paid by everyone or just land owners, I have several people to ask me that question ?
