Indiana. John Franklin Thixton married Margaret (Maggie) Jane Hartsoe 10/8/1892 in Greene Co. Maggie's father was Williams James Hartsoe. Maggie and John's son, Iasaih Thixton (b. Oct. 6, 1895 in Marmaduke) was my grandfather. They moved to Big Spring, Texas, where John Franklin died in 1950. I have lots of information on the Hartsoe ancestors but not on the Thixtons. Mary Alice Thixton married James Buchanan Hays (b. September 8, 1860) on March 6, 1888. Both died in Paragould, Mary September 16, 1950, and James September 18, 1938. Any contacts and information would be appreciated.

Sandy: I did a check of the 1920 Greene Co. census and did not find the name Thixton there.
