Posted on: Greene County, Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Greene/991 Surname: McMillian, Black ------------------------- Was wondering if anyone out there would know if a plot map exists for the New Friendship Baptist Church cemetery. I am trying to locate the grave of my grandfather's sister. Her name was Flossie McMillian and she died of Typhoid Fever in Dec.1899. She is buried in the cemetery, but it is either unmarked, or marked with just a field stone. Would like to find the grave so I can place a proper stone. My family lived in Halliday and New Friendship in 1899 and 1900. They moved there from Pendleton Co.Ky. My great great grandfather was George W.McMillian who was the post master at Halliday in 1900. The McMillian's also ran a store and a huckster wagon business. The whole family got sick with the Typhoid and spent everything they had on doctor bills. After they recovered, they moved back to Kentucky and lived there the rest of their lives. If there is somekind of plot map, or plot markers in the cemetery, I should be able to locate the grave. The plot would be under the name Walter Cassius McMillian or W.C.McMillian. If anyone has any info. on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thankyou.
