Waldrum This venerable man and pioneer citizen was born in Murray county Tennessee on April 1, 1821. When four years of age his parents moved to Illinois where the family resided only one year. In 1826 they moved babk to Tennessee, settling in the western portion of the state. Two years afterward, in 1828, the family came to Arkansas ans settled in what is now Greene County. Further down ------ Mr. Waldrum was twice married, first to Emily Cupp in this county in 1846, and he was married to Jennie C. Harris in Greene county, Ark. in the year 1872 Further down - second column ----- Mr. Waldrum served only a short time in the Civil War as a private soldier in John McHaney's company of Kitchen's regiment nd was in the engagements at Pilot Knob and Glasco, MO.
