Angela, Henry Jackson Adams, son of David Adams and Vicy W. Haynes Adams, married Columbia Long in 1865. Columbia was b. May 5, 1849, Lauderdale Co., AL, and d. 6/9/1921, Greene Co., AR. She was the daughter of Daniel Long, b. abt. 1818, d. 6/5/1878, and Elizabeth Waters, b. 6/12/1822, d. 1/18/1886. Elizabeth Waters was the daughter of George Washington Waters and Nancy Adams (sister of the aforementioned David Adams, making Henry Jackson Adams and Columbia Long cousins). I do not know the parents of Daniel Long. I would be happy to share other information with you, and would be thrilled to know more about your branch of the family.
