    3. Hi Everyone, Is the following 'Bushman' the same "Joseph Buchanon 'Buck' Eubanks" as found in our James and Frances Eubanks genealogy work? 1880 Greene County, Arkansas Census Cache township 64/70 Bushman Eubanks wm 23 h s f ga ga ga Arminta wf 19 sis s kh ar ga ga James wm 17 bro fl ar ga ga Also, is the following 'Posey' the same "J.P. 'Posey' Eubanks" as found in our James and Frances Eubanks genealogy work (Both individuals appear to have been born the same year)? This 'Posey' is listed as the brother to whom (Sarah) or am I missing something? If both 'Posey's are the same, then since "William P. Eubanks" passed away in 1876, it is possible that William's son was 'adopted' by another family (same Cache Township). Wonder who Charles McKenly is? 1880 Greene County, Arkansas Census Cache township 69/75 Benjamin Johnson wm 45 h m f tn va tn Sarah wf 43 w m kh tn tn tn Adalat1? wf 14 d ah mo tn tn Samantha wf 12 d ah ar tn tn Victoria wf 11 d ar tn tn Sarah wf 9 d ar tn tn Benjamin wm 6 s ar tn tn Elizabeth wf 3 d ar tn tn Charles McKenly wm 22 br s fl ar ga ga Posey Eubanks wm 16 br s fl ar ga ga Next I found the census record of Chaste C. Eubanks being married to Rachel Mary Thompson in 1880, when he lived in Jones county, Arkansas. If the record is correct, it looks as if Rachel was born in Tenn. as an later Texas census also indicated. If this record is correct, then both her parents may have been born in SC. Looks like additional leads to follow. I still wondering where Chaste may have met Rachel. I looked at all the 'Thompson's listed in the 1880 Greene county census. I didn't see any 'Thompson' individuals that had parents being born in SC (possible Rachel sistor or brother) or any person being born in SC that may have been the right age to have been one of Rachel parents. Also I've been wondering if Rachel had any children before hitching up with Chaste (considering her age). Are there other Chaste & Rachel census dates that list Rachel's parents' birthplaces (must be, I've not seen it yet)? 1880 Greene County, Arkansas Census Jones township 30/33 C.C. Eubanks wm 23 h m f ga ga ga Rachiel (sic) wf 32 w m kh tn sc sc Jerome wm 3 s ar ga tn Drewry wm 1 s ar ga tn Is the below 'Julius Eubank' the same as 'Julias A. Eubanks', son of 'William P. Grambling census information that contains the name Benjamin, Susan, and June Eubanks. As of 1880, it looks as if after James 'Jim' M.C. and Mary E. Eubanks' deaths, their children moved in with their grandfather, Benjamin M. Grambling. B.M. Grambling's younger wife, Martha, was married before to a man with the surname of 'Price'. Before that Martha's maiden name was 'Smith'. The 'June' listed below was most likely a transcription typo with the correct name being 'Jane', as is listed in out James and Frances Eubanks genealogy work. Wonder what happened to the other older B.M. Grambling children and their mother, Mary Lucy WILSON? 1880 Greene County, Arkansas Census 146/157 B.M. Gramling wm 63 h m f sc sc va Martha wf 35 w m kh ms ms ms Benjamin wm 4 s ar sc ms David wm 2 s ar sc ms Benjamin Eubanks wm 8 g/s ar ga ga June Eubanks wf 13 g/d ar ga ga Susan Eubanks wf 10 g/d ar ga ga Lula Price wf 6 s/d ar tn ky Reuben Smith wm 23 bro s fl tn tn tn Thank you, Mark Gibbons mgibbons@lucent.com
