    3. Doris, I don't have any info on the family directly, however an ancestor did marry a Trantham. Mary Jane Walls b. 1850 in Gibson Co., TN married Needham M. Trantham. They are both buried in New Liberty Cemetery in Halliday, which is just outside of Marmaduke. I don't know if this Trantham would be any relation to yours and I don't have any additional info. Just thought the name might be helpful as it is unusual. Carol

They moved to Arkansas about 1859. d: 09 Jan 1885 in Greene County, Arkansas. Samuel and Nancy are both buried in Hartsoe Cemetery.
