Doris, I don't have any info on the family directly, however an ancestor did marry a Trantham. Mary Jane Walls b. 1850 in Gibson Co., TN married Needham M. Trantham. They are both buried in New Liberty Cemetery in Halliday, which is just outside of Marmaduke. I don't know if this Trantham would be any relation to yours and I don't have any additional info. Just thought the name might be helpful as it is unusual. Carol
