Robin: That is about the time when my Smith family probably came to Ark. from TN. I am desperately trying to find more on my one Smith: Mary Jane Smith, born 1835/36 TN; married abt. 1859 in Ark. to Milas Pinckney Presley. They show up on the 1860 census for Fulton County, Ark. with their first baby, Mahala. They lived in that area for a few years and then went to Howell and Oregon Counties in MO where they lived until death. Any help on finding the parents of Mary Jane Smith would really be appreciated.
