Plus it shows the way of life of our ancestors. How hard the times were rough and dangerous . The county was a wild and untamed frontier and our families shared this and made their homes here and settled down and raised families. This record might also explain why some of the familys seperated and went seperate ways .It list the name and offense of the person and the page number in the book. The link is below. http://www.rootsweb.com/~argreene/indiceme1888.htm Tina Easley surnames:Morton, Easley, Lambert,Gladish, Reddick, Marsh, Coggins, Reaves, Lenderman Greene County Arkansas http://www.rootsweb.com/~argreene/greene1.html Come Take A Trip in History!!!
Posted on: Greene County, Ar Query Forum Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Greene?read=857 Surname: Langley, Light ------------------------- I am looking for information on Henry G. Langley m. Mollie E. Light, Aug 1891 in Walcott, Green County. Her father's name was Pleasant Light. His father might have been John Langley.
The 1916 link isn't working. But the 1917 information is wonderful. My great-great-grandfather, John Adams, is the first on the list. I've been unable to establish his date of death but was told that he lived to be in his 90's. He was born in 1826 and the pension list proves that he lived beyond his 91st birthday.
