    2. Sounds like we have a connection here but to find it exactly. My John Bass was the son of Jacob and Nancy Jane Davis in Fayette Co., Illinois get with me direct and I will check to see what I have on the Bass line. Most of it I know by hear. For I am working on it for my 91 year old uncle

    2. Ronnie, My Uncle says his Grandmothers maiden name was Hindman, but another younger person says it is Morgan. My Uncle says she was from Prairie Point, Missouri. Her name was Mary Josephine Whom married a Barran and Than a John Bass. Would you by chance have a connection to her?

This I'm not sure of I have little info on Bass. line my uncle married into Bass John , Sam Samuel Bass it is said was with Bell Starr in Mo. for some time this is a story handed down thru the family.
