AR. My ggrandmother was Ida Butler. I believe her father was T.V. (Thomas Van ?)Butler b. 1843. Do you have any info on whether T.V. was a brother, son, nephew, etc. of William G. Butler. If so what were their parent's name? I have tried to figure it out but I have ran across some info that said they were from Gibson CO., Carroll Co, & Benton Co TN. My ggrandmother was supposedly born in Benton Co. TN. Would appreciate any info that you can give me. Thanks!

(probably Henry) Craven states that he enlisted in Co E, 5th Arkansas Infantry in Gainsville (GREENE. Co.)AR on June 26, 1861. The next card says that he enlisted in Pocahontas on July 27, 1861. He was 27 years old at that time. He was m. to Nancy Cole and had two children. Wm. Henry b. 1858 and Mary Catherine b. in 1860. Any help finding this man would be greatly appreciated. Jan Craven

    3. Jesse Williams is listed in the history of Beech Grove Methodist Church as "Jess Williams and wife." His wife was Elizabeth Taylor, proven on her son George Washington's death certificate. Jesse does not appear in the 1850 Greene Co census, and does not appear again until 1856 land records. Looking for information on Elizabeth Taylor. Was she related to the other Taylors in Greene Co? Did any other Taylor lines travel to Greene Co from Paint Rock, Jackson Co., AL? Also, John Taylor who married Sarah Carolina Breckenridge. Does anyone know who John's parents were?
