    3. Hi Here is a link to the Will records we have posted and the S surname page .There are some Smith's listed . Pine Knot is just about 4 or 5 miles from Finch not the far by the way the crow flies. Matter of fact Junior Strope lives right down from Pine Knot church . (Uncle Donald's brother ) and were Uncle Donald lives is considered Finch just about three ridges over on the same road. We have some 1950 will records posted and some older also the will records would be at the County files we have the wills posted at this link. http://www.rootsweb.com/~argreene/wills19.htm Tina I hope this helps . Can I add the obits in your letter to our obit page ? It might make a connection for you or someone else? Just let me know. Ok? Greene County, Ar. 3. Hi Mark, My husband's grandfather, Martin Crain is buried at New Friendship cemetery. His grave must be unmarked because his name doesn't appear on the cemetery survey. When I went through my mother's-in-law photo album, I found several photos marked "MacMillan" or "MackMillan." One was marked "Georgia MackMillan." There is also a photo of Georgia's children. I can't really date the photos, but think they may have been in the late 1920's or early 1930's. My mother-in-law did not have much education, so she did not write well. Do you have any idea who Georgia was? I have not been able to make a connection to the Crain family. (Martin Crain was married to Martha Standley in 1910. He was about 30 years her senior.) Since your McMillans returnd to Kentucky, there may not be any connection, but I couldn't resist asking! Thanks for any help. Posted on: Greene County, Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Greene/991 Surname: McMillian, Black ------------------------- Was wondering if anyone out there would know if a plot map exists for the New Friendship Baptist Church cemetery. I am trying to locate the grave of my grandfather's sister. Her name was Flossie McMillian and she died of Typhoid Fever in Dec.1899. She is buried in the cemetery, but it is either unmarked, or marked with just a field stone. Would like to find the grave so I can place a proper stone. My family lived in Halliday and New Friendship in 1899 and 1900. They moved there from Pendleton Co.Ky. My great great grandfather was George W.McMillian who was the post master at Halliday in 1900. The McMillian's also ran a store and a huckster wagon business. The whole family got sick with the Typhoid and spent everything they had on doctor bills. After they recovered, they moved back to Kentucky and lived there the rest of their lives. If there is somekind of plot map, or plot markers in the cemetery, I should be able to locate the grave. The plot would be under the name Walter Cassius McMillian or W.C.McMillian. If anyone has any info. on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thankyou.
