    2. Pearl Ratton
    3. To all who are searching Jackson. Check Dunklin Co Missouri. Some of my line lived between Paragould Ar and Cardwell Mo. I have found My Thomas line in both counties if they lived in Dunklin Co Mo but were nearer Paragould Ar that is where they traded and married. If they lived near the Mo line they would trade in Cardwell MO and marry in Kennett Mo. Pearl

Lydia B.Jackson moved to Greene County with her Children and her husband B.N. Jackson a Civil War Veteran from Madison County Tennessee. B.N. died before the 1880 Census was taken.I can't find their oldest son John Henry Jackson anywhere in the 1880 census but he is found in the 1910 Census Hurricane Township which list John Henry Jackson his second Wife Mary Sherman and their children. I have found descendants of all those Children except Robert L. Emery M. and Lelia. John Henry Jackson was my great grandfather. His son Willie was my grandfather. My father Lester was born in Marmaduke in 1919. I have some pictures and copies of documents I wish we could make a connection.I will share what I have. The "V" in my grandather's name stands for "Vance". That is the surname of his mother, Ida May Vance who was married to Hervey Josiah Jackson. There are a lot of Jacksons in Greene and Clay Co AR. in the late 1800s. It is very hard to tell how they are all connected. There is bound to be a connection between our people somewhere...but I have not been able to confirm it. My Hervey J Jackson is probably connected to Henry J Jackson. Actually the family migrated from Alabama to Arkansas before 1860... best I can narrow the timeframe so far would be Spring of 1859 for the majority of the family with Jonathan (Sr.) leaving the year before. Per research done by Floyd Barnhill and filmed by the LDS, Joseph Jones joined in 1864 and participated in Price's invasion of Missouri. I haven't found any record thus far that I can identify as Joseph. If he did serve, I would suspect to find his widow receiving a pension at some point... at least in Alabama the widows were allowed pensions if their husbands served in the War. I do not have ready access to an index/pension list for Arkansas so I cannot verify. Do you still live in the Greene County are? Which Charlie were you interested in? Do you have birth date etc? Notes on my large portrait indicate it is Jonathan Jones, but the notes are mine from when I was a teenager and may not be correct. The note says Jonathan Jones and mother Albright but I have found no indication of an Albright and she looks to be Sarah (Woods) Jones. It seems more likely that I have a large portrait of Joseph and also Sarah (woods) Jones. Larry Jones Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
