Phil, did a general search for your Boykin, Nelson Hugh again, the URL below might be of help to you, I hope so any way!. http://www.couchgenweb.com/family/boykin.htm PR Massey Greene Co. I am looking for my BOYKIN relatives. There were three siblings. John Burwell Boykin 1853-1890; Paragould's first City Attorney that helped Paragould incorporate. He is buried in Linwood Cemetery. Leila Marie Boykin 1862-1947, married GD BYERS in Gainesville. She is buried there. Hugh Nelson Boykin 1866-?. He married first Sarah Elizabeth SMOTHERS, the widow Sarah D. SWANK. They appear in the 1910 census page 118, Paragould, Ward 2. Not in the 1920 census. Hugh's daughter Agnes married James Edward Daniel 1913 and was in the Paragould Sanitarium in 1920 census page 118, Paragould, Ward 2. My wish is that someone would check the newspaper records at the library for any reference to their death or burial or moving from the area. First wife died or divorced before 1904. Hugh married the second wife 10 Feb 1904. The children moved to Batesville, Independence Co., AR. The library does not loan the microfilm and I now live in CA. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks for the reply. Its nice to know you are still helping researchers. The site you referenced is data that I provided years ago. I was hoping someone with time on their hands could review the death notices or other references. I checked with descendents living in Batesville, but they could not shed any light as to when Hugh died or if he moved. There was some family lore that someone was bit by a rabid dog and died of rabies. That may be true but there are four people in the 1910 census. I can't find any of them. Best regards. Moses was born around 1865 and Ada was born about 1866. They married August 3, 1885 in Gainesville, AR. They would eventually have two daughers: Mamie and Doris Cox. I cannot find information on Moses' father but I may have found him and his mother and sister living with a brother, Richard Cox in 1870. If this is the correct Moses, he was Moses C. Cox and his mother's name was Mary J. Cox and sister Sarah Ann Cox. Ada Garner is listed as being the daughter of Noah Z. Garner and Sarah C. Clement. If anyone has any information about these families, I'd appreciate the help. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Reunions started at Brown's Chapel and ended at my uncle's house in Rector Arkansas. Photo's of Edna, along with my grandmother Elizabeth Yopp Sain, another sister Nan, and some other Yopp family photos appear on my site. My mother might be able to provide some information on Charles and Edna's children if you are still looking, but I recall a Harlan Chesser (truck driver I believe) attending with Edna.
