    1. Re: [ARFULTON] Fulton county history?
    2. In answer to the john/sherry query (that's my daughter and son-in-law too) I can only speak for the depression years. Fulton Co. was cotton, corn, and cane crops, hard rocky soil, sparce population, but hardworking church going farmers! My ggrandfather William Martin Green was a Cumberland Presbyterian Minster in Mammoth Springs in the late 1880's- a thriving community near the spring! A book entitled Arkansas Angels is a good example of men who traveled usually by horseback from congregation to congregation debating their particular form of belief. My immediate family could not survive the harsh conditions during the depression years, and took the chance to move elsewhere in search of work. Now over 50 years later, going home, little has changed. But it's still home...Volamae in Florida
