But we both know that sometimes the person at the door could not spell and the enumerator was left to decide an appropriate spelling. They turned my Ritchies into Richeas and Ritcheys and numerous other spellings through various census. My father (b. 1906 knew his uncle John) I would like to find anyone who may know this long lost great great uncle. The family left MO right after the m. & lived in Fulton Co. after that. My grandfather was Drew Columbus Reasons b. 1880 in Ott, Fulton Co, my father b. there in 1906. Have recently found the link to prove the parents of Ross Reasons which gives me several more generations for both of his parents. Happy to share my research. Hi Marcia, We have not seen the quote before, but will send an e-mail and perhaps get a response. It would be nice to correspond with a descendent of Susannah Louisa Marriott. We would like to document our records whenever possible. We haven't tried Howell Co. records for Chadwick yet, but will do that.
