Morn in Cuz Pattie Thanks for getting back to us on the Morriston Arkansas Church of Christ. I just got to thinking with daddy being born in Morriston and spending his early years there. There church may have some early records from around the turn of the century that could give us a hint on Great Grandma Sophronia Davenport ( WISEMAN ) MONTGOMERY's family Patti I am coping this to the list also in case some one on them may know something about it. Hey I understand about being behind. We have not got our lives back on track ever since Clifford Stacy our son has been on track for that SAND BOX they call IRAQ. He has been over there now since the 25th of January 2005. The boys set us up with Yahoo WEB CAM before Stacy headed over there. He can get to a computer now and then. So we can see and talk to him some. It is free. If any one would like to contact us off list so I don't plug up the list with something some one would not care about. We would be glad to tell what little bit we know about the set up. Me and Judy have been to the Morriston Cemetery found a lot of family there. Took some pict's of some of the stones. You say your grandson, Brandon Langston, will be going to Iraq shortly also. He drives a fuel truck. I feel for him and all of you as his family, We will be praying for Brandon. Let just hope the powers to be will get the people trained over there to take care of them self so all our kin can come home. Our son has has been retrained as a MP. ( He was artillery ) One of his jobs he has been told is convoy security. With the job Brandon has they may be together at times over there. Small world this old rock has become. I talk to a lady this morning who's brother goes to the Morriston Church of Christ. She said they didn't have a Minister, they only had Sunday School. They haven't had a Minister for some time. The Church is getting really small. I talked to Paula's Uncle Noel and he said there was not any earlier record kept for church. There was one man that took care of everything and if he keep records no one know where they would be. Couldn't remember what you were wanting to know while I was talking to him but it was your Grandma Sophronia, is that right. I can call him back and see if he remember anything on that family that might help you.
