I was wondering if anyone out there has been working on the batch of Neals that came to Arkansas from North Carolina, and Tennesse before NC? The line goes something like this: John Alexander Neal b. est. 1830 Tennessee, supposably died during the Civil War, married: Mary Lukinza Howard b. est. 1822 in Macon County, NC Children: Polly Neal William Jim Neal b. abt 1852 m. Polly Rowland John Howard Neal b. Oct 25, 1855 m. Mary Emaline Hicks Wood Sarah Neal b. est. 1858 m. John Gregory Samuel Lane Neal b. est. Dec 21, 1859 m. Catherine Dills Joseph Alexander Neal (My direct Line) b. June 1862 m.Susan Addie Bradley Ive finally found them on the census in Tennessee and have some questions for anyone who is researching this line and may have answers on who the parents of John Neal & Mary Lukinza Howard were.
