Any marriage records for earlier marriages would have to come from the county clerk's office in Salem, and I understand they deem the documents too fragile to allow the public to examine them -- if they are even available. I'm not sure, but Fulton County might be one of the "burned" counties - i.e. courthouse burned during the Civil War.
