    3. Sara and Gene, Thanks for your interest in my family. The Hunts you list are indeed relatives. But I didn't know they were buried in West-Plains. Hunt, James Thompson (according to Lilian Hays Oliver in "Some Boone Descendants and Kindred of St. Charles District" born in Louisiana Aug. 27, 1834 and died Feb. 24, 1902 in West Plains) is the brother of Dr Larkin Wesley Hunt. He was harness maker. Both were the sons of Wesley Hunt and Melissa Callaway, a gchild of Daniel Boone. Hunt, Martha L. 16 Dec 1831 - 18 Aug 1920, is James Thompson's spose. Her maiden name is White. Hunt Larkin William 1 Jul 1864 - 2 Oct 1941 (according to Lilian Hays, died Oct. 18, 1942 near Pomona, Howell Co.). He was a barber of West Plains. Hunt, Loretta 8 Jan 1889 - 12 Feb 1966 was Hunt L.W.'s 2d spose. Her maiden name is Huckabey. The maiden name of his 1rst spose was Irene Barrick They had four children: Byron, Robin, Fern and Lee. You relate: Hunt, Infant 25 Oct 1894 - 28 Nov 1894 (son of L.W. & Irene) and Hunt Lee 18 Jun 1868 - 24 Dec 1885 Following the April 19, 1934 edition of the West Plains Weekly Quill, Dr Larkin Wesley Hunt was buried in Moody. "Funeral service will be held this afternoon at Moody and will be in the charge of Rev. W.L. Myers, Pastor of the Methodist Church of West Plains. Burial will be in Moody Cemetery ..." Gene, I received your e-mail. I have never been in Moody. Thanks again for your help. Louise-Marie Hunt gwijns@skynet.be Belgium >
