Anyone know if any newspapers survived from the Salem area? Or was there a newspaper published during the 1870---1880s? I have found that a newspaper was published in this time frame in Mammoth Springs. I did check in Little Rock years ago and at that time there was no listing of a newspaper in the Salem, Arkansas area. Hoping some have surfaced. Jay yaerohs@aol.com I am a genealogy nut, but I am not cracked. SOUTHWORTH DACUS BLEVINS TWILLEY/TWILLY OXFORD SHURHART? MANES and many others in Fulton County.
There is currently a paper in the Salem area. It is the Area Wide Media. They print 5 different papers with the subscription paper being The News.
