Lee Anne I looked at the census record in Ancestry.com. It did not have the word child behind any of these children for Samuel. Is there something that makes you think that M.Jane is not his child and maybe the twin of Jos.? Did you look at the 1840 census for how many children Samuel had and at what ages?
