Alfred R. Crotts Published on 9/17/2004 MELBOURNE - Alfred Rollin Crotts, 75, of Melbourne died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, in Searcy. Born April 7, 1929, in Elizabeth, he was the son of R.O. and Bertha Sexton Crotts. He worked at a metal finishing company in Wichita, Kan., for 40 years. Survivors include two sons, Larry Crotts of Joshua, Texas, and Gary Crotts of Franklin; two daughters, Freida Duren of Sherwood and Penny Ramsey of Melbourne; a brother, Thurman Crotts of Melbourne; a sister, Alma Stephens of Brockwell; 14 grandchildren, Ramona Miller, Jessica Shaw, Marissa Duren, Jacquelyn Duren, Christopher Crotts, Adam Crotts, Crystal Crotts, Matthew Crotts, Katrina Crotts, Devin Ramsey, Justin Crotts, Felecia Crotts, Haley Crotts and Kaci Crotts; and five great-grandchildren, Devin Shaw, Cole Miller, Natalie Shaw, Breauna Crotts and Nathan Duren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gale Crotts; two sisters, Evie James and Thelma Crotts; and two brothers, Ival Crotts and Ed Crotts. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home of Melbourne. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
