    3. Hi folks! The V.A. has gone on line with info on where veterans are buried, including Arlington (since 1999) and other National Cemeteries. Approximately 80,000 names are currently on file. They hope to also include the locations of deceased military personnel where grave markers were ordered in the future. The site is www.cem.va.gov For example, I gave the surname and first name of my great-uncle and had the following information returned: 1. NISBETT, NOEL A SGT US ARMY VETERAN SERVICE DATES: 10/19/1917 - 06/30/1919 DATE OF BIRTH: 08/02/1894 DATE OF DEATH: 09/16/1967 DATE OF INTERMENT: 09/19/1967 BURIED AT: SECTION H SITE 1636 JEFFERSON BARRACKS NATIONAL CEMETERY 2900 SHERIDAN ROAD ST.
