All, I'll take a shot in the dark approach at this. I'm looking for a WELLS or WELCH family with a marriage to a MAY family. The WELLS/WELCH brother may go by the name John and could have lived around Byron between Salem and Mitchell in present day Fulton County. His sister Amanda may have married a MAY who was killed while moving after a house burned possibly in Greenville, TN (so the family story goes).
