    1. [ARFULTON] Pennington questions
    2. James F. Montgomery
    3. Virginia, Ok, I'll go with Mathilda knowing her own birth date. I don't know how old Smith was when he applied, but maybe his memory wasn't too good regarding his siblings ages. Afew more questions for ya'; On one of the first messages you sent, you had John David and Mathilda's marriage date as August 17, 1865, and on the outline you sent me and the one you sent Jean Mayfield Cuevas you have August 16, 1865. Which is right? >From somewhere I had Mathilda's marriage date as August 10, 1923, you have 1929. Again, which is right? Is Hampton and Dabner Hampton b. 1866 one and the same person We have an Ava for one of James Smith and Jenny Viola Pennnington's children. Could that be a nickname for one of the kids you have listed. I have no other info on her. And last, was Jenny Viola's last name Smith? '-) I called Paul Dean Lynch a little while ago. I was confused, because he told me Charley Pennington had a daughter named Jenny V. who married a Copeland, no first name. She must have been named for her aunt. Paul Dean siad that when Jenny's mother died, her Aunt Belle adopted her. This Jenny is still living according to Paul. I hope you don't mind, Virginia, but I thought I would send this to the Lynch, Izard and Fulton County lists. Maybe some of these Pennington researchers can give us a little help. If anyone has census, birth, death or marriage records to help with these Penningtons, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for checking your data against the Indian applications, I guess I have been lazy and didn't think to look that closely. I'll have to be more careful won't I? When I am finished entering your info into our tree, I will send an outline for corrections and additions.
