I am Catherine Gillespie Marx of Milwaukee, WI. I grew up in Thayer, Oregon, MO, just over the line from Mammoth Spring, Fulton, AR. I had relatives in Mammoth and spent much time there. I am looking for information on John S. Morris who is buried in Salem Cemetery. I would like to know who and when he married before he married Sarah Parlee. I have been told by one of her relatives that he was thought to have had a son. John was a brother of my great grandfather, George H. Morris and another brother, Henry C. "Bud" Morris. All three brothers came to the area from VA with stops along the way in IN (for George, at least). Any information on Bud's children or wife, May, would also be appreciated. He is buried in Field Creek Cemetery but I think May moved to Oklahoma after his death. I would also like to learn more about a Hendriekson family that lived near Bakersfield, I believe. A Charles Hendriekson married Virginia Lizabeth Morris, George's daughter, on May 17, 1894. She is buried at County Line Cemetery near Bakersfield but actually in Baxter County. When I was there this past Easter, I saw that someone had put flowers on her grave. I would like to know if that person is related to either family or just a kind soul! Catherine
