Hi Wilma, We have corresponded before about the Merriott/Marriott line. According to my records, Edycomb (Edward) Merriott's wife was Elendor Bridges. Our connection to the Merriott/Marriott line is through Edward's sister Malinda who m. Larkin McCarty and we could share this McCarty line with anyone interested. We have not found Larkin and Malinda McCarty after the1860 census, and wonder what happened to them. Were they a casualty of the Civil War? Must have spaced out there for a minute. I don't have any info on Larkin McCarty, so can't help you there.
