Altho not directly connected, the Merriott/Marriott's married into the Dewey family who married into my Burruss family. Edycomb Merriott's daughter (don't have his wife's name) Ellen Jane married William A. Dewey. Also a son, Edward married Julia A. Ott - and I have information on his line also.
