Langston, 85, of South Haven passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at South Haven Health Care Center. Ethel was born Aug. 20, 1917, in Evening Shade, Ark. She had been married to James Langston until his death in 1994. Ethel is survived by 5 sons and two daughters ---- Dortha Erwin of Bangor, Michigan, Ewell Wayne Langston of Newport, Arkansas, Melvin Ray Langston of Augusta, Georgia, Jimmy Neal Langston of South Haven, Michigan, Donna Langston Shaw of Augusta, Georgia , Johnny Michael Langston of Fennville, Michigan, Terry Langston of LA'nace, Michigan; two brothers --- Orville Hutchison of Kansas City, Missouri, and Arlin Hutchison of Pentwater, Michigan; 16 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at the Dillinger Funeral Home in New Port, Arkansas with Pastor Terry Langston officiating. Burial with be in Massedonia Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas. Friends may call at the Dillinger Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. Local arrangements are by Calvin - Starks and Frost Funeral Home in South Haven, Michigan.
