Rogers, AR City Population: 34,575 Benton County Population: 121,706 Located in middle of the Northwest Arkansas Metroplex, which consists of Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers and the surrounding area (total population 263,938). Rogers, The Gateway to Beaver Lake, is part of the booming Northwest Arkansas Metroplex area of Benton and Washington counties. Benton County was first organized in 1836, soon after the area was first opened to white settlers, but Roger's history is strictly tethered to the entrance of the Frisco Railroad, whose first train arrived in Rogers on May 10, 1881 (considered the town's anniversary). The townspeople were so grateful for the railroad that they named the town after Frisco Vice President and General Manager C.W. Rogers. Today, Rogers enjoys a 6% annual growth rate, according to the Rogers Area Chamber of Commerce and is the 10th largest city in Arkansas. T. F. Langley Arkansas *TLangAdams@aol.com*
